When the Trip is over, it’s good time to overview the challenges we were involved in. A Team of seven friends came to Africa to test their own stamina and team spirit over a 5000 km ride. To make it short the Team was Great – ready to help, understand and make a joke. All the rest was made by Flavio and Chris – the Route, the Bikes and Mid of Africa’s feeling. Flavio gave us as much as we could handle, keeping us on improving our skills, motivating and still keeping us safe, when Chris gave all needed support, advices and smile. Have to accept that it was not too easy…, getting up at sunrise and arriving at sunset kept us 100% concentrated on pure African riding. We had to negotiate steep rocky gravel roads with fesh-fesh sections, muddy rivers crossings and tropical rain showers. Some falls ate our skins, but amazing sceneries and high vibes paid it off. To the list of already visited Ethiopia, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania and Malawi, we will go to Zambia, Zimbabwe or even Congo next time. With Africa Riding Adventures that should be all possible!  

A truly fantastic ride out. It was great to experience the amazing Rwanda countryside on my days ride. My guide for the day was excellent and offered me a great insight into the culture and history of this fantastic country. Being able to ride for just one day made my trip worthwhile! A combination of great bikes, superb roads and trails made some amazing memories from my 1 day 'adventure'. I will hopefully return soon to take on a bigger adventure with Africa Riding Adventure Tours.

Rwanda in Seven Days was our second trip with Africa Riding Adventure Tours. Earlier trip was in Ethiopia several years ago. We Finns love motorbike enduro driving and have been doing that around the world and in many continents. Places, tracks, pistes and nature were so variable around Rwanda that driving was really exciting and interesting. There was everything for everybody. We also saw really great nature and beautiful places and sceneries but also rough enduro sessions. Bikes were almost new, the support was fast by a van and the staff was very helpful. We really enjoyed every day and all members were able to have just right dimensioning tracks for his or her skills. 1300 km in seven days gave us exactly what we were looking for. We can especially recommend Rwanda for all drivers because of its beauty, hills and polite people.

This was my second Trip with Africa Riding Adventures. Because the level of professionalism shown by Flavio, and this Tour with Christophe meant that I could concentrate on Riding, and not worry about anything else. Rwanda and Uganda are both beautiful countries,  the sights and most of all the experiences I shared with the three great guys I met, Aidan, Philip and Gert, will live with me for a long time. If you want Adventure Riding, this is the company to ride with.

I had the pleasure of participating in my first Africa Enduro tour with Africa Riding Adventures this Christmas extending into 2020 and wow what an adventure. It was made even more special by our fellow travellers who were very easy to get on with and the level of organisation and professionalism shown by Flavio and Chris, our guide. Patience is Chris’ middle name and I certainly tested his patience on at least 9 occasions. 😊. The amount of different surfaces experienced, the spectacular views and the amazing people encountered in Rwanda and Uganda really made this a trip of a lifetime. I have been on the road now twice with Africa Riding Adventures and both trips were amazing. Flavio and Chris run a perfect organization, they have a passion for what they are doing and they can control all the situations that one might face in the environment in Africa, which gives me a safe feeling. It was great fun both times and I will definitely return.

A unique motorcycle tour through Rwanda and Southwest-Uganda with “Africa Riding Adventures Tours” The countless mountains and volcanoes give to this scenic country, located in East Africa, the romantic name of “The Land of a Thousand Hills”. Slightly smaller than Albania, Rwanda is touristic but still not much discovered. Fantastic experience and never expected to have so much fun riding in such a small country (Rwanda). The bikes are brand new and turned out to be perfect size/weight for the type of terrain. So many of the roads are very tight and twisty through the mountains. Very interested in heading back to try the other routes over the next few years!!!
